Cancellation Policy (valid for those signing up after May 1, 2019)
Each passenger acknowledges that the MM Cancellation Policy supersedes the policies of any and all outside vendors’ policies. To cancel your reservation you must send us written notice (by mail) to: Marriage Matters, Attn: Cancellations, 40515 California Oaks Rd. MM recommends that you purchase delivery confirmation (if mailing). It is the traveler’s responsibility to confirm that the cancellation has been received by MM.
If you do not make payments as agreed upon, your reservation will be subject to cancellation and cancellation fees will apply.
If you fail to appear on the trip, regardless of the reason, your reservation will be cancelled.
Each passenger expressly acknowledges that because of the special nature of the event and the additional expenses incurred by MM related to cancellation, re-booking, potential lost revenue, and finding booking replacements, that MM will suffer damages and expenses. The parties agree that the liquidated damages provisions shown in the table below represent a fair, reasonable and agreed upon determination of those damages and expenses and will apply regardless of the reason for cancellation, even those due to unexpected or special circumstances.
From Present to 72 hours (3 days) after registration - 0% of Trip Price and additional room night charges (if applicable), plus 100% of any other fees.
From 72 hours (3 days) after registration to May 31, 2019 - 25% of Trip Price and additional room night charges (if applicable), plus 100% of any other fees.
From June 1, 2019 to June 30, 2019 - 50% of Trip Price and additional room night charges (if applicable), plus 100% of any other fees.
From July 1, 2019 until the date of the trip - 100% of Trip Price and additional room night charges (if applicable), plus 100% of any other fees.
No refunds for no shows or when cancelled after July 1, 2019. After cancellation fees are incurred, if there is a remaining balance due, MM may, in its sole discretion, consider your notice of cancellation to be invalid and thus may not release your reservation until payment of the cancellation charges is received; therefore a delay in payment may result in a higher cancellation fee being owed. If a refund is due, MM will credit a refund within 60 days of receipt of the written request for cancellation.
Passenger expressly acknowledges that MM highly recommends travel/cancellation insurance for each and every passenger. It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to purchase travel / cancellation insurance.
